Rudy Jones

Rudolph J. Jones, known best as Rudy Jones or Calico Jones, is an active Subglass Courier.

Biography

Rudolph Jones does not have a personal record beyond his repeat, seasonal appearance in Give. Little to no verifiable information on his world of origin exists on record. It is suspected he was once involved in some form with The Cult of The Lonestar, but this has not been substantiated.

Personality, Personal Life and Public Image

Rudy himself states that he was born in the northern desert of a plane known as Moribund on the 22nd of Dedreen, year unknown. He claims to have worked as a courier for the majority of his life, ‘dabbling’ in the study of magic along the way.

Despite the scant amount of information available on his homeworld and early life, Rudy has a generally positive opinion amongst the citizens of GIVE. Serving as a courier, he guides visiting ambassadors, sponsors, and the like safely to the station and back.

Mysterious as he can be, Rudy does not make himself a stranger. Charismatic and sociable, he is best described as a free spirit, though he holds a sound awareness of his surroundings and his impact therein. Most of his free time in GIVE is spent where the people are, occasionally participating in open mics where he ‘moonlights’ as a musician, though he has been known to wander the Station Zoo and its outskirts; journaling.

Career and Relationships

Rudy does not speak on the conditions and restrictions of his work in relation to GIVE. It is nigh entirely confidential, with the one known term being that he is barred from speaking of it. As such the true extent of his relationship in relation to GIVE’s acting governance and in turn to his own Sponsor is unknown.

The sole incident of note in his career is a series of rumors in regards to his relationship with GIVE’s current Captain, Sunday Gracious. While wholly unsubstantiated, some questions were inevitably posed by an anonymous columnist, claiming they spotted the two conversing in a secluded section of the Station Gardens. Though the Captain never commented, the columnist returned a week later to claim that they’d confronted Rudy, who confessed that the conversation was purely academic in nature. None of this has ever been verified.
