Genesis of Lordsong

Genesis (born 11 Renuclian 4504) is the current titled Evident Lord Protector of the Nevergreen Clan following the death of the previous ELP in the Great Reset.

Biography

Genesis was born in 4504 to the bronze dragon Valor, 9 years before the culling of the second Council of Metallic Dragons by the second Chromatic Council of Dragons and the appointment of the third and Final Council of Metallic Dragons. In 4512, his mother was killed in a large-scale attack on the southernmost cities of Metrianda’s Underglass. While her death would usually call for the mass culling of the Council of Metallic Dragons, their families, their heroes, mayors, and governmental workers under the Council of Chromatic Dragons’ law- Valor’s death was kept secret by her mayors. In order to keep appearances, it is reported that the then 8 year old Genesis was dressed up as his mother for important meetings- wherein he kept silent.

According to later interviews, as a result of his proximity to bureaucracy and his awareness of the imminent lethality of then Metriandan politics, Genesis grew up to become a very prominent political force in the Underglass and, notably, the city of Lordsong in The Old Capital.

In the year 9419 Genesis, the heroes and mayors of The Old Capital, the third Metallic Council of Dragons, Kian Shigar and Maldreth Matriad of Robasa, and the Chromatic Dragons Yevie and Bravophae Tenebris Purpumtum were involved in a full-tower lockdown of Lower Ealie.

Over the course of 10 nights the Metallic Council of Dragons was assassinated, as were the Dr Mayor Oxi Gyn and Mayessal candidate Abigail Daisy. The assassinations were claimed by the movement of The Sun and Moon, shortly after the lockdown Maldreth Matriad and Pareidolia Di’or assassinated the remaining dragons in the Chromatic Council, overthrew the friendly parties to The Council, and took control of Over and Underglass Metrianda for 2 years before being overthrown by Mayess Kian Shigar and her resistance group. Having survived the subsequent Great Reset he continued his political career in the now-empty Underglass, where he, and several of the survivors of the events of T.O.C. fled to the Nevergreens.

Personal Life and Public Image

When asked his thoughts on his life, Genesis responded “I chose the life I choose to lead”. He continues this sentiment in his personal work, having avoided continuing what he calls the “cycle of loss” that being a parent and partner in Metrianda entails. Genesis, while claiming he has no intent to parent or father a child, has reportedly adopted several Nevergreen children during his time as ELP. When prompted for comment, he has also referred to a hero of TOC as a child of his, though he promptly ‘corrected’ himself to ‘employee’.

Career and Relationships

Genesis is most well known for his work as the ambassador for Valor from 4512 to 9419, wherein he campaigned for lesser punishments for failure for all employees under the Metallic Council, for equal resource dispersal between Underglass Metrianda and Overglass Metrianda, and for increased reliance on Nuclear Power.
