Whima

Whima was the centermost city in The Republic- serving as the capital of The Republic of Metrianda for centuries up until recently. Unlike the other cities in The Republic, Whima is not named after its tower (Ealie) nor does it have a concept god it represents. While the tower itself is as old as Robasa’s, the functional city-like aspects of The Tower were constructed in the year 1320 as a means to serve as a meeting ground between the factions of Escherin. Following the deaths of The Matans it functioned as a meeting space for the Council of Dragons called The Perch. The city was led by Mayess Kian Shigar.

It was a metropolis, filled with tech, tram and train systems, and towering structures, almost mirroring Robasa. It boasted the highest civilian count out of every single nation and city in Metrianda/Escherin, and consequently now the largest loss of life in recent history. About a year ago, at the adjunct of the newest stage of the 500 years war, Whima’s tower was rammed into and through by The Sun as it came out of hiding for the first time in 500 years. The tower, everyone on it and in the city, and everyone on and in the nearby tower of Zitaf were propelled downward thousands of miles- very few people survived, most through sheer luck of being close enough to another city to vacate, on a flying craft, or departing the city on a tramway. It has not been rebuilt.
