Dunetown

A burgeoning city blooming out of the Somsot desert north of Robasa’s tower. Dunetown was originally a college town under the Council of Dragons (Metallic division) that hosted one of the better universities available to Underglassians. However, after the fall of The Council and the diaspora out of The Underglass it was abandoned and quickly fell into ruin- being nearly fully consumed by the sands of Somsot. Occasionally the dying city would summon a hero- who would often attempt to leave the empty city within the next few months, having no information, greeting party, or another soul to speak with- save for the strange uncommunicative massive eel-mermaid mayor who lives in the irradiated lake in the center of town. Dunetown was recently brought back to life through the combined effort of its hero Theowara die Verdreht and the forces of The Moon and Robasa- the former of which having funneled a significant portion of money into the improvement of the city. Currently Dunetown is housing individuals of import from The Republic, several refugees, and the heroes of the inner-republic city of Yurnh. Of note, Dunetown hosts one of the rare Subglassian wells- which comes in the form of a strange endless vertical library colloquially referred to as The Bookpit. Access to The Bookpit is heavily restricted by Verdreht.
